Resources

Life ABC has developed a number of educational tools for patients, health care professionals, and advocates.

COMING SOON: Help educate patients about what they can do to help reduce their risk of recurrence and continue living life after breast cancer. The Life ABC "Meeting in a Box" gives you everything you need to hold your own Town Hall style meeting. Download an agenda, presentations, discussion topics, checklists, and questionnaires to get started.

Communication between patients and health care professionals plays a very important part in increasing a woman's chance of staying cancer free. A significant number of women haven't discussed recurrence with their physicians, and even when they do, there are often gaps in the communication process. Discuss these questions with your health care professional at your next visit.

It is important for women to maintain a healthy lifestyle, both physically and emotionally, to help prevent breast cancer and its recurrence. Use the Life ABC checklist to make sure you're taking the steps that will help you remain cancer free.
